The first few were hell - to put it in perspective, my first 5k run took about 55 minutes. I say run...it was more a walk/crawl.

Had Monday evening off and ran again tonight - 5k in a shade over 30 minutes. Gets better with every outing!

Yes, you're right. Views can't (or shouldn't) affect the friendship. And, in my humble opinion, political views shouldn't be taken seriously.
